The EXCENTRIC Open Demo Days Kick-off marked the official launch of a five-event series accompanying the project’s pilot implementation phase. Hosted online by Ars Electronica with the collaboration of Waag, Museum Booster, and pilot organisations Cultural Trend Lisbon, Theater Dortmund, Computer History Museum, Oulu 2026, Roma Europa Foundation and Krakow Festival Office, the internal event brought together pilot organisations, consortium partners, and network collaborators to initiate a shared reflection on data sharing and network-building within EXCENTRIC. 

Framed around the topic Data Sharing & Networked Approach, the day combined inputs, partners presentations on SOLID and data-sharing practices, discussions on the Accelerator support structures, and an interactive sensemaking session exploring data-sharing scenarios. The kick-off established a common ground for collaboration, identifying key challenges, support needs, and strategies for onboarding and engaging a resilient data-sharing network across the consortium and beyond.
